The Pampered Pet in Brentwood, CA is hosting a 2-day Creative Grooming Seminar with Manuel Graniel. When we got the invitation, I did not know what “Creative Grooming” entailed, so I started doing a little research…Creative Grooming is an artistic styling that utilizes intricate scissor work, inventive shave designs, temporary or semi-permanent dyes, or other embellishments like rhinestones, glitter, and stencil designs to create a fun, innovative groom.

There are associations like, the National Association of Professional Creative Groomers (NAPCG) and the Creative Groomers Association that promote and protect the health and well-being of the animal while defining standards of excellence in the creative grooming industry.

At this 2-day seminar, Manuel Graniel – Master Groomer and Instructor/Trainor for the Asociatión Mexicana de Estilistas Caninos Professionales A.C. (AMECP) will inspire creativity with the how-to’s of the bold and popular Asian Fusion Styling and Urban Fusion Styling.  You will get tips and tricks to spice up your styling and learn to improve hand scissoring techniques needed for creative grooming

Asian Fusion Style, or Asian Styling is a bold new creative grooming style that evokes a sense of whimsy and fun. Usually concerned with the individual expression of the head, rather than the body, this style aims to maximize cuteness!
